QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Given the ongoing process of adding new resorts to our portfolio there are inevitably questions from members about this. Royal Reporter asked Mr. Vic Faulkner the Group Managing Director to answer some frequently asked questions.

Q: How many operational are there in the KRG portfolio?

A: 20 in Europe, India, Thailand and Indonesia

 

Q: Are you building new resorts or acquiring existing resorts?

A: Both. We either have begun or will shortly begin construction of three new resorts in Bali, Palawan and Japan. We hope to acquire two new resorts in India and two new resorts in popular Indonesian destinations within the next 6 to 10 months. We have made an offer for a stately home in UK and we are waiting to know if our offer is accepted as we go to press.

 

Q: Do all new resorts come with self catering accommodation?

A: If we are building the Resort then Yes. If we are acquiring a resort then not always. Some do and some don't. Whilst we know our members like to self cater - we also feel they would prefer to have a resort in the portfolio even if it doesn't have a kitchen rather than not having the resort at all.

 

Can all members use the new resorts?

A: Yes. However usage rights may vary. A points member may use his points as his entitlement at the new resorts. Week owners may access the new resorts through the bonus week system rather than entitlement.
